6 Days Mountain Gorillas, Wildlife and Chimp Tour
Day 1: Entebbe - Kampala
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will meet our tour agent who will take you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time you may have our famous Kampala tour. Some of the possible places to tour include Buganda Kingdom palace, Bahai temple, Namugongo Uganda martyrs shrine, Kasubi tombs and Uganda museum. You can spend the night at the Lodge or any other hotel of your choice in Kampala.
Day 2: Bwindi National Park
This morning you will start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park after an early morning breakfast. You will drive on Ishash a route and arrive in Buhoma in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma community Rest amp/ Gorilla Forest Camp / Buhoma Lodge.
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking
Have an early morning breakfast, take your packed lunch, and then head for a briefing at the headquarters and start tracking gorillas in the forest at 8:00am. The time spent in the forest is unpredictable but ranges between 2 to 6 hours depending on the movement of mountain gorillas. Dinner and night will be spent at Gorilla Forest Camp / Buhoma Lodge / Buhoma community Bandas.
Day 4; Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari.
This morning you will leave for Ishasha Game Reserve and see tree-climbing lions. Then you will have lunch at Queen Elizabeth national park lodge and prepare for Kazinga Channel for your afternoon game drive. Dinner and night will be spent at Mweya Safari Lodge / Hippo Hill Camp.
Day 5: Game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Take an early morning game drive which you will enjoy in the northern sector of the park in search for buffaloes, lions, Uganda kobs and many bird species on Kasenyi trail. Then proceed to Fort Portal for a night at Mountains of the Moon Hotel as the preparation for a chimp trekking in Kibale Forest national park the following morning goes on.
Day 6: Chimp Trekking in Kibaale Forest.
You will start your journey to Kibale forest headquarters at 8.00 am in the morning for a 4 hours chimp trail. You will then have lunch and be taken on a ride to Kampala reaching in the evening.
